No, SoulBharat is not a profit-making organization. It is a purpose driven initiative focused on increasingly empowering rural and tribal communities for increasingly sustainable livelihoods. SoulBharat ensures that farmers, artisans, and women, whether they are sellers, creators, or service providers, receive fair and dignified returns for their work by creating a self-sustaining ecosystem where value flows directly to the grassroots.
The SoulBharat team is committed to building impact, not profit. Team members receive salaries and support through responsible funding models. These include contributions from investors, service charges from platforms developed under the SoulBharat umbrella, and partnerships that align with our mission. The structure allows the team to continue serving communities while ensuring transparency, accountability, and long-term viability.

Yes, we intend to collaborate with universities, researchers, and students interested in rural development, social entrepreneurship, and cultural studies. We may provide access to field data, community insights, and case studies while ensuring ethical engagement and consent.
Yes, SoulBharat is committed to nurturing the potential of rural creators through needful skill development. Our training programs are designed to build confidence, independence, and long-term sustainability, preserving traditional art forms, cultural heritage yet refining their skill for modern markets. We have plans to offer digital literacy workshops, better use of smartphones, access online platforms, and engage with e-commerce tools. The key component is to be marketing and branding, where artisans learn how to present their work with compelling storytelling, create product labels, understand customer preferences, and build their own identity in the marketplace. This will connect them meaningfully with buyers for a longer duration.
Our women are the anchor and foundation of our society. So women are to be the backbone of SoulBharat project also. We plan to empower them by recognizing their skills, offering training, and creating income opportunities that allow them to work from home or within their communities. Whether it’s hand embroidery, food processing, herbal products, or traditional crafts, we plan to help women turn their talents into sustainable livelihoods. We also provide access to digital tools, financial literacy, and market linkages: so they can grow not just economically, but socially and personally. Our goal is to help women become changemakers in their own villages.
There are many meaningful ways to support SoulBharat: • Donate: Your contributions help us train more women, expand our reach, and improve infrastructure. • Volunteer: Offer your time, skills, or mentorship to help us grow. • Partner: Collaborate with us on projects, events, or campaigns that align with our mission. • Spread the word: Share our work on social media, with friends, or in your organization. Every action big or small can help us build a more inclusive and compassionate Bharat.
SoulBharat initially wants to operate in selected villages and tribal area in Gujarat. We choose areas rich in cultural heritage but underserved in terms of economic opportunity. Our model is deeply local, we build trust, listen to community needs, and co-create solutions that are sustainable and respectful of tradition. As we grow, we aim to expand to more regions of state, while staying true to our grassroots ethos.
SoulBharat is funded through a mix of grants, angel investors, impact investments, platform service charges etc. We maintain transparency in how funds are used, with a focus on reinvesting into community development, infrastructure, keeping a limited percentage of funds for team sustainability, for financiers and owner/s.
